Beatrice June Ingram, age 69, formerly of Shelby Avenue, Shelby and most recently of Canton, died Monday evening, April 14, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton after a brief illness.
She was born June 26, 1933 in Rowan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Gene and Ima (Jones) Johnson. Mrs. Ingram had been a computer operator at AMF Bowling Products in Shelby. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Moose Auxiliary, and Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and cooking.
June is survived by a son and spouse, Steven and Nancy Ingram of Canton, OH; 2 daughters and spouses, Deborah and Charles Langford of Vandalia, OH and Barbara and Darrel Bledsoe of Shelby; 5 grandchildren and spouse, Sasha Ingram, Jamie Ingram, Matthew and Jennifer Langford, Scott Langford, Melissa Woessner; a great-grandson, Thomas Edward Langford. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Cliff, Scotty, Jack and Ollie Ray Johnson and a sister, Josephine Cooper.
The Ingram family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and from 9-10 AM on Friday at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the church.
