Cecil Harley Oney, age 63, of 224 West Third Street, Mansfield, died early Saturday morning, February 15, 1997, in the Crestwood Care Center after a short illness.
He was born July 17, 1933 in Shiloh, Ohio the son of James Harrison and Lucy Ellen (Cox) Oney.
Mr. Oney retired as a taxi driver in Ashland.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Armin and Mary Oney of Shelby; 4 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Dorothy Oney and by a brother Junior Paul Oney.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Turner Funeral Home in Shelby is in charge of the arrangements.
