Emma Lee Wheeler, age 59, of 164 Broadway, Shelby, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at her home after a short illness.
She was born April 4, 1944 in Delbarton, West Virginia the daughter of the late Jasper and Tishie (Howard) Harmon. Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker.
Emma is survived by her husband, Clifford Lee Wheeler, whom she wed on April 20, 1960; 2 daughters and spouses, Judy and Bob Galbraith of Mansfield, Brenda and Larry Hamilton of Tennessee; 2 sons and spouse, Jason and Jennifer Wheeler of Shelby and Cliff Roy Wheeler of Shelby; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Violet Adams of Shelby a brother Lacy Harmon of Shelby; Good Friends, Glenda and Clyde Mollet of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, April 19, 2003 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with her nephew, Rev. Jack Marcum officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
