Hattie (Marshall) Boor Smith, age 74, of 4836 Preston Road, Shelby, died at 5:54 P.M. Tuesday at Shelby Memorial Hospital after an extened illness. She was born June 6, 1914 in Crawford County, the daughter of Thomas and Hattie Belle (Berry) Marshall.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Merle E. Smith, whom she married on June 15, 1963; 2 sisters: Mrs. Walter (Edith) Weber of Shiloh, and Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Brown of Clyde, Ohio; 1 brother: Lewis Marshall of Shelby.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Grayson Boor, in 1962; by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with her pastor the Rev. William W. Graham, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church and left at the funeral home.
