James Edgar Lalley, 72, of Crestwood Care Center, died Monday morning at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus after a short illness.
Born May 12, 1913 in East Palestine, he was the son of William W. and Anna (Fullerton) Lalley.
He is survived by one sister, Elsie Atkinson of Encinitas, CA.
Lalley was a retired self-employed truck driver, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shelby, and a World War II veteran.
Graveside services will be held Monday at East Palestine Cemetery, East Palestine.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Turner Funeral Home.
