Dear Dick family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I’ve known Jan for many years from the Country Club and played golf with him many times. He was a great guy and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My deepest sympathy to Jan’s family. He will be truly missed. Some of the best times I’ve had playing golf were when I had the opportunity to join Jan’s early Sunday morning group at Shelby Country Club. That last putt is good. Rest in peace Jan.
There are no words to express how much we will miss Jan!!! He was a wonderful neighbor and friend for nearly fifty years! Rest in peace!
Back in the 90’s my husband and I enjoyed Jan and Mary Ann’s company several times. The men were acquainted through their employment. The four of us enjoyed many fun evenings.
He was a fine man and will be missed.
Condolences to the family.

To the Dick family. I met Jan and Mary Ann in the late 1970’s. Two of the very best people, I have ever met. Jan had a great sense of humor. He always got to throw in a “zinger” whenever the opportunity arose. I always looked forward to talking with him at the Willard vs Shelby basketball games, over the years. RIP Jan!
So very sorry to hear of your loss of Jan. I Remember his golf years at the Country Club. He often played with my parents, Jim and Marilyn Terman. Beths Dad, Charlie Young , really enjoyed Jan in his short stay at The Willows. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
with deepest sympathies
