Lona Rivera, age 79, of Willard, died March 31, 2012 at Hillside Acres in Willard.
She was born March 3, 1933 in Hippo, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sam and Laura (Shepherd) Reed. Lona was a homemaker.
Surviving is a daughter: Janette Chaffins of Willard and a son: Don Donnie Collins of San Diego, TX; 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Pete Rivera on March 3, 1963 and by 2 sons: Jimmy Rivera and Johnny Rivera.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
