Mary Elizabeth Boreman, age 97, currently of Mansfield and former Shelby resident, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Arbors at Mifflin.
Mary was born May 9, 1919 in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Milum) McLane. She was a graduate of Salem Township High School in Wyandot County and was a homemaker her entire life. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading and embroidering.
Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Shirley Jean and Paul Daniel Madden who reside in Tustin, California and two grandchildren: Paul Andrew (fiancée, Kara) Madden and Jennifer Renee Madden, both of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Boreman in 1993 and an infant brother and sister.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 1-2 pm at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm. Rev. Dr. Edna Stahl, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Shelby, will officiate and burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
