Maurice Jackson “Jack” Hall, age 76, of Shelby, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Jack was born on May 22, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio the son of the late Dean M. and Nellie M. (Bebout) Hall. He was a 1956 graduate of Shiloh High School. Jack retired from General Motors in Ontario as a scheduling supervisor after 30 years of service. He loved to golf, fish, and hunt but above all he was devoted to his family.
Jack is survived by 2 sons: Jack Jeffrey (Shanna) Hall of California, Joel (Michelle) Hall of Lodi; 2 grandsons: Spencer Hall, Marshall Hall; a sister: Molly Jo (Robert) Elliott of Mobile, AL; a brother: Robert Hall of Plymouth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Hamman.
Family and friends are welcome to attend graveside services on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Larks Lake Association, %Monica Kline, 3940 Larks Lake Road, Pellston, MI 49769. Care for Jack and his family is being provided by Bob, Catherine, and Jake at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby.
