Ralph B. “Bud” Rickett, age 72, of 60 Mickey Road died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home.
He was born April 1, 1915 in Basil, Ohio, the son of Ralph Ray and Mary Etta {Strahm} Rickett.
Mr. Rickett is survived by his wife, Rose Jane {Nothacker} Rickett, whom he married on July 3, 1939; 2 sons: Ralph L. Rickett of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Robert C. Rickett of Mansfield; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister: Esther Ross of Plymouth.
Mr. Rickett was an electrician and welder at IBEW in Mansfield. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and treasurer of the Coachman’s Club Chapter 20.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl L. Johnson, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial expressions may be made to the IBEW Hall in Mansfield and left at the funeral home.
