Will was born July 19, 1952 in Garrison, KY to the late William Lee and Jesse Opal (Pruitt) Bloomfield and graduated in 1971 from Plymouth High School. He was so proud to run their family’s Shenandoah General Store for many years. Will enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping, was an outstanding chess player, and had liked traveling. He had a tremendous sense of humor and was a great storyteller- even once winning a state debate competition. And most importantly, Will was incredibly generous.

Will is survived by his loving brother and sisters: Roger (Vicki) Bloomfield of Shiloh, Sharon Price of Olive Hill, KY, Rita (Ronnie) Maglott of Lexington, Karen Sue Bachelder of Lexington, and Pam Bloomfield of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to his parents, Will was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law: Faye and Anthony Henderson; and brothers-in-law: Kenneth Barker, Keith Bachelder, and Joe Price.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 3 pm at Richardson Cemetery, Lewis County, KY where he will be buried beside his parents.
