Bryan Z. Oberholtzer, 8 day old infant son of Dwayne B. and Sharon M. (Zimmerman) Oberholtzer, died Monday morning, September 21, 2026 at Akron Children’s Hospital. Bryan now rests safe in the arms of Jesus following an unexpected illness.
Bryan was born September 13, 2026 at the family home in Greenwich, Ohio. In addition to his parents Bryan is survived by his sister: Addilie Oberholtzer; maternal grandparents: Marvin and Ruth Ellen Zimmerman; paternal grandparents: Leroy and Ellen Oberholtzer; maternal great-grandparents: Irvin and Martha Zimmerman and Esther Martin; paternal great-grandparents: Joseph Oberholtzer and Emma Burkholder; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather: Eli Martin and paternal great-grandparents: Ervin Burkholder and Martha Oberholtzer.
A graveside funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 10 am at Meadow Crest Mennonite Church, 4715 Old State Road, Willard, OH 44890. Bishop Ammon Burkholder will officiate the services.
